From March 3 to April 1, the Korea Foundation (KF) and the Embassy of Georgia in Korea host the “Georgia ? The Cradle of Viticulture” photo exhibition both online and offline at the KF Gallery.

It originated from an exhibition with the same title that was curated by globally renowned scientist Professor David Lordkipanidze, the Director General of the Georgian National Museum (GNM). The exhibition was first unveiled in 2017 at Cite du Vin in Bordeaux, France, the world’s most famous wine cultures and civilizations museum. It organized by the Georgian National Museum and the National Wine Agency of Georgia, funded by the Georgian Government. The exhibition provides audiences with an opportunity to explore the origins of Georgian wine along with various visual-perceptual experiences, retracing more than 8,000 years of Georgian winemaking history.

On March 15, a small but meaningful celebration was held with Georgian Ambassador to South Korea Otar Berdzenishvili‘s welcoming remarks. Then followed welcoming remarks by Vice President of Korea Foundation Seong-in Kim.

Entry is free. Advance booking is temporarily required to visit the KF Gallery. For advanced booking of the exhibition, please click on the link below.
