By connecting the 'K' and 'F' of the abbreviation for the Korea Foundation, the corporate identity logo of the Korea Foundation symbolizes the Foundation's core activities and inter-exchange programs that connect Korea and the rest of the world. The red color was chosen to draw attention to the "Foundation," and by using a stroke that stretches out from the "K" and connects with the "F," it depicts the Foundation's role of connecting Korea to the world. Also, the gently curved symbol symbolizes the Foundation's mission that aims to promote friendship between Korea and the international community and its efforts for nation branding. The gray color used for the logo type symbolizes trust and reliance as an affiliated organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MOFAT), and the modern type fonts represent the refined and modern beauty of Korea
