Prospective donors should contact The Korea Foundation. They will then be personally and fully informed about the program in as much detail as they desire by the staff of The Korea Foundation. Next, they will be assisted in filling out and submitting a donation program application to The Korea Foundation.
The Korea Foundation's screening committee reviews and confirms the viability of a proposal by a prospective donor.
The donor, the donee, and The Korea Foundation will conclude an Agreement that specifies the terms and conditions of the donation and the respective obligations of the three parties.
The Korea Foundation will legally accept the donation from the donor and officially acknowledges the receipt of the donated funds.
The donated funds will be used for specific programs designated by the donor, such as a Designation, or for The Korea Foundation's programs, in the case of a General Donation.
The Korea Foundation will submit a report to the donor after the receipt of a report from the donee on the programs or activities that are implemented with the donated funds.
Please note that an application for designated donation program should be submitted to the Foundation at least 2 months prior to making actual donation. It generally takes two months for the KF to proceed with all the relevant administration including concluding an agreement.
