Introduction

Overview

The KF Gallery hosts various exhibitions to enhance Koreans’ understanding about world cultures through the exchange of outstanding cultural contents.

Eligibility

Foreign diplomatic missions and cultural centers in Korea, non-profit international exchange organizations and private cultural organizations at home and abroad are eligible for the Foundation’s support for organizing exhibitions.
*Individuals are not eligible for support.

Comprehensive visual arts, including painting, sculpture, photography, installations, relics, folk arts, crafts, design and fashion

*Exhibition duration includes time for installation and removal of exhibits.
*Exhibitions on outstanding contents are eligible to apply for co-hosting with the Korea Foundation. In the case of co-hosting, the Korea Foundation offers exhibition space for free and partial financial support for shipping, insurance, public relations activities and printing.

Evaluation Criteria

- Quality of proposed exhibitions (exhibits) and level of contribution to international understanding
- Whether to satisfy the Korea Foundation’s program objectives
- Reasonable and stable budget planning
- Professionality of applicant institutions (past activities/professional background of applicants considered)
- Programs accompanying exhibitions
