KF Special Lectures on Korea Held in India
The Korea Foundation organized the KF Special Lectures on Korea at three universities in Delhi, India - Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and the University of Delhi - on November 15 and 16, 2017. Designed to enhance proper understanding of Korea among scholars and students in India, the special lectures dealt with topics on international relations of the Korean Peninsula and Korean economy, consecutively. About 400 Asian studies scholars and students majoring in relevant areas attended the lectures, showing growing interest in Korea.

The Foundation annually organizes the KF Special Lectures on Korea in countries and regions where have there are relatively less active Korean Studies programs. The lectures were held at nine institutions in Kazakhstan, Myanmar and Malaysia last year. The Foundation will continue to organize the lectures in 2018, featuring the dynamic and future-oriented aspects of Korea.
